STAR Project Autumn Programme 2026
The STAR Project's Autumn Programme 2026 has arrived, bringing an exciting mix of regular favourites and new seasonal activities designed to promote creativity, wellbeing and community connections.
As the cosy season begins in September, participants can look forward to two new workshops: STAR Stitchers and Visible Mending with Artist-in-Residence Britta, which will run on alternate Thursdays. The programme also includes the STAR Project's Annual General Meeting and an autumn equinox herbal tea workshop, offering opportunities for learning, reflection and seasonal celebration.
October's programme features a range of activities for the school holidays, including drop-in sessions, Breakfast Club events and Halloween-themed workshops. Families can get involved in creative seasonal activities and enjoy plenty of community spirit, with some spooky surprises along the way.
Recognising that this time of year can be challenging for many people, the STAR Project is also offering a range of wellbeing-focused activities. These include an All Hallows' Eve labyrinth walk and an artist-led Reflections workshop as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival.
As temperatures fall and household costs continue to rise, the STAR Project will be supporting Challenge Poverty Week through practical workshops and advice. The Pantry Plus team will be sharing money-saving tips, while a new six-part workshop series will explore the links between gambling, financial hardship and mental health.
In November, the STAR Project will launch a community consultation, giving local people the chance to share feedback on the autumn programme and help shape future activities and services.
The programme will also support national awareness campaigns, including DigiKnowVember and 16 Days of Activism, through an online safety workshop. The season will conclude with celebrations marking St Andrew's Day, bringing the community together once again.
Paisley Housing Association is pleased to support the STAR Project's continued work in creating opportunities for local people to connect, learn new skills and improve their wellbeing throughout the autumn months.
