Information

As a registered social landlord we hold many different types of information. We proactively publish a significant amount of information about the Association through official publications and our Annual Report. There is also information that we provide to organisations like the Scottish Housing Regulator,The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator, The Scottish Information Commissioner Office, and the Financial Conduct Authority which is accessible to the public.

Paisley Housing Association has adopted the Model Publication Scheme 2018 produced and approved by the Scottish Information Commissioner.  The Scheme can be viewed in Publication Scheme Resources at the Scottish Information Commissioner website.

There are a number of key pieces of legislation which provide you with rights to access information in a number of different ways. 

The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA)*

Provides rights for individuals to access a range of information held by organisations who are designated public authorities under the Act. From 11 November 2019, RSLs were as public bodies for the purposes of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) 2002 Act (FOISA).

The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 

Provide rights to access your own personal information held by organisations.

The Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (EIR) 

Provides rights for individuals to access a range of environmental information held by organisations who are designated public authorities under the regulations.

* Please note that FOISA is the Scottish Act, but you will sometimes see it referred to as FOI
